What qualities or behaviors do you expect in a child? Give reasons and examples from your reading, experience, or observations to support your answer.
Vietnamese people always say: “Children are the future of a country”. That is the reason why parents invest a lot in their children. Children that are raised in a good way must be sociable, confident, and self-disciplined.
Firstly, sociable children can develop good relationships. They can work in a team productively and make friends with everyone. That can expand their social network which helps them achieve their goals easier.
Secondly, confidence helps children work effectively. For example, they can help themselves achieve the goal and dare to take risks and gain success. Confidence helps children believe in themselves and be proud of what they can do.
Finally, children who are self-disciplined are able to control impulsive behavior. They can know what is right, what is wrong and control themselves. Moreover, children can cope with uncomfortable emotions.
To sum up, children who are the future of a country should obtain three qualities that I mentioned above which are sociable characteristics, confidence and self-discipline.

“East or West, home is best.” Do you agree or disagree with this saying? Give reasons and examples from your reading, experience or observations to support your point of view
The president of the USA has a saying “East or West, home is best”. It is clear that he mentions the role of home in each person’s life. In my opinion, I definitely agree with his quote because of 3 reasons.
Firstly, home is where we are born and grow up. We have been bred in many ways and learned the first lessons here. Families always spend the best things for us.
Secondly, home is where we feel the most peaceful. There is nothing like the comforts of home. It is something familiar, warm and close to our heart. Moreover, home is filled with love from family members. We and our family can share warm meals, humorous stories and valuable experiences.
Finally, home is where we spent our wonderful childhood. Memories can come from childhood or any point of our life. Home is a place that reminds us about the good times in the past, which can encourage us to try to do our best in the future.
For these reasons, I totally agree with Donald Trump’s saying.

In Vietnam nowadays, many young mothers tend to send their six-month-old babies to nursery schools. What are the causes that may lead them to this decision? Give reasons and details or examples from your reading, experience or observations to support your answer.
Many young mothers tend to send their children to nursery when they are at a very young age, for example six-month years old because of 3 reasons
Firstly, young mothers often lack experience with the basic ways to take care of kids. They are likely out of their mind with worry and scared of taking care of babies. Therefore, nursery schools can temporarily take over mothers’ responsibilities.
The second reason is the very busy life of these mothers. These days, not only men but also women have to earn money to build up their life. Moreover, many families live independently. So that they don’t have enough time to take care of their babies.
Finally, young mothers think that their babies can benefit more when they go to school early. At nursery school, children are taken care of carefully and they have an environment to interact with others to learn new things.
To sum up, young mothers tend to send their kids to nursery schools when they are very young because of 3 reasons. Young mothers don’t have enough experience and time to take care of babies, and they want to give their children full facilities to help them grow normally.
Trash and pollutants have been increasingly dumped into the sea. What are some consequences of this action?
It is a well-known fact that nearly 70% of the earth is filled with water in the form of different kinds of water bodies such as oceans, lakes, rivers, etc. Practically, trash and pollutants are more and more increasingly dumped into the sea which will negatively affect people’s life and the sea’s health.
Firstly, the wastes that are dumped into the oceans tend to have toxic substances, which soak in all the oceanic oxygen. This leads to a marked depletion of oxygen available to mammals and other fishes causing them to die in their natural habitat. Every year, according to reports, more than one million seabirds are being killed by ocean pollution and thousands of dolphins and porpoises are dying every year due to increased human intervention.
Secondly, Trash and pollutants have made a lot of changes in the ocean like plastic, and other harsh chemicals change the water’s quality and plankton. This will lead to getting rid of the food chain and fail the reproductive system of fish and other aquatic beings. It cannot be denied that fish and other seafood will be seriously affected by unqualified food resources.
Last but not least, people may face the consequences of their bad habits on the sea.
As we know, seafood is the best nutrient resource for people’s development, especially children. If the toxic substances get consumed by the fishes which get deposited and accumulated in their fat tissues, then the humans consuming these affected fishes can face unwanted complications.
In short, people need to raise awareness about protecting the ocean environment due to its essential role in human life. Trash and pollutants will be cut off only when people think and understand profoundly how hard they can survive without sea resources.

How can bus passengers protect themselves from thieves?
Nowadays, Vietnamese people are more and more using buses for their commute due to some benefits. However, it also has disadvantages for passengers, especially thieves. How can bus passengers protect themselves from thieves? Here are ways to keep themselves and their stuff safe when using the bus.
Firstly, people need to break the habit of using a smartphone or tablet while using the bus. The fact that playing around on their phone or tablet will make you less aware of your surroundings, also make them more attractive to thieves who see passengers holding valuable things. It is easy for a thief to come up behind people when they are passing through, grab their tablet, phone, or purse from their hand, and run away.
Secondly, passengers must arrange things in their bags well and stay in contact with their belongings. Rather than setting their bag down beside them, or underneath their seat, hold it in hand, or even loop it around afoot. This will make people more likely to be aware if someone else is touching their bags. Besides, people need to limit the time needed to take things in or out of their bags.
Lastly, at the bus stops people must stand in well-lit areas if they have to commute at night. It allows them to observe things around easily. In addition, people should check the bus schedule beforehand so that they do not need to spend much time waiting.
In conclusion, passengers need to carefully store their belongings in a safe space. Besides, people should reduce the time to use any technological devices during a trip on the bus.
